Obituary for Steven Berry Talbot

Steven Berry Talbot
Steven Berry Talbot, 58, of Starkville, MS passed away early Friday, December 7, 2018. A native of Louisville, MS, Steve graduated from Louisville High School and attended Hinds Community College and Mississippi State University, but lived the latter part of his life in Starkville.

Steve was a caring, and loyal husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He loved helping his patients and was also known for his love of the outdoors where you could always find him hunting or fishing. He was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan that loved to cheer on the hogs on any given Saturday as long as he was surrounded by family and friends. He was one of a kind, with a wild sense of humor, that will be missed by many.

Steve is preceded in death by his father, John Berry Talbot, and his wife, Missie Thames Talbot, of Starkville.

Steve is survived by his three children, Judson Talbot, Stephanie Edwards (Scottie), and Jacob Talbot, all of Starkville, MS. He is also survived by his mother, Bertha Gaye Talbot of Louisville, MS, his sister Lynn Doyle of Philadelphia, MS, and his brother Brian Talbot (Lee Ann) of Louisville, MS., and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the church sanctuary. Rev. Bob Whiteside will conduct the service. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery.
