Obituary for Sylvia Dunn Box
Sylvia Dunn Box, 66, passed away on March 26, 2023 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. She was a retired receptionist with Warner Family Dentistry and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Sylvia loved spending time with her grandchildren and she loved to cook. She believed “a pie could fix anything”.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Box; parents Carl Wilson Dunn, Sr. and Elizabeth Smith Dunn; and brother, Buddy Dunn.
She is survived by her daughters, Ashley Coleman (Corey) and Christy Windsor (David); sons, Chris Collier (Jan) and Michael Box (Alicia); sisters, Beverly Phillips (Bill) and Barbara Rogers (Russ); 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation on Friday, March 31st from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist church, with the memorial service immediately following.
