Myrle Templeton Pilkington passed away on March 24, 2014 in Alabaster, Alabama. Mrs. Pilkington was born in Leflore County in Mississippi on April 15, 1920. She was married to the late Boyd Pilkington and they resided on the Old West Point road in Starkville Mississippi for 54 years.

Myrle is survived, Daughters Darlene Hagler and husband John of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Teresa Madden and husband Keith of Birmingham, Alabama. Grandchildren Tawnya Madden Watts, Carlton Hagler and Aston Madden. She also leaves two precious great grandchildren, John Rodger and Julianne Hagler and she also had one brother, the late Dr. William Chesley Templeton of Lexington, Kentucky and is survived by one sister Mary Ruth Templeton Wendt of Waco, Texas.
She will truly be missed.

Services for Mrs. Pilkington will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Oddfellows City Cemetery in Starkville.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donation be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 405 N. Jacklson St., Starkville, MS 39759.
