I'm sadly touched by the news of Jeffie Hester's passing.She and my mother,Pauline Gibson Clark, were first Cousins.I have several happy memories of visits to her house when I was a child in the early 50s. There was always good food and lots of music. She made cousin Sandra ans me sit quietly on the front porch on Sunday afternoons and sometimes we had to embroider. Miss Jeffie said we were waiting for our gentlemen callers. I will always feel a tug when I pass the road sign to Maben, MS.
