C. S. Barton, passed away on February 2, 2015 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS. He was a retired insurance salesman with Farm Bureau and a member of Adaton Baptist Church. He was also a member of Civil Air Patrol.

He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Michael Barton.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rachel Bryant Barton of Starkville, MS; sons, Rick Barton of Starkville, MS, Mark Barton of Bethesda, Maryland, and Stephen Barton (Sheryl) of Sterling Heights, Michigan; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Barton is scheduled for Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Welch Funeral Home. Rev. Hal Selby will conduct the service. Burial will be in Wake Forest Cemetery.
