Helen McWilliams Crain
Helen McWilliams Crain, 93, passed away on October 13, 2015 at Arbors at Olive Grove Terrace in Olive Branch, MS. She was formerly a resident of Montgomery Gardens in Starkville, MS. She was a retired Administrative Secretary for Oktibbeha County Schools and a member of First Baptist Church in Starkville, MS. She was a graduate of DeKalb High School and attended Mississippi State University. She was a loving wife, and very devoted mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Ross McWilliams and Emma Jane Long McWilliams; husband, George Bennett Crain, Sr.; and sisters, May, Nona, Lela, Edith Ross, & Beatrice.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Rosenberg(Myron) of Memphis, TN; sons, George Bennett Crain, Jr. (Joanne) of Tallahassee, FL, and Ross Bruce Crain (Melanie) of Starkville, MS; sisters, Jeannie Bounds of Laurel, MS, Eleanor Ethridge of Meridian, MS, and Janie McWilliams of DeKalb, MS; brothers, Arnold McWilliams of Enterprise, AL, and Donald McWilliams of Meridian, MS; grandchildren, Jason Crain, Nathaniel Crain, Catherine Crain, David Rosenberg, Ann Marie Rosenberg, Alex Crain, and Laura Austin Crain; and four great grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Crain is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church Chapel in Starkville, MS, with the service immediately following. Rev. Clifton Curtis will conduct the service.
