Sybil Josey Lummus, 86, passed away on January 14, 2016 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. She was a retired records clerk with Mississippi State University and a member of Adaton Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henderson and Olive Christopher Josey; husband, Charles Lummus; and brother, Richard Josey.

She is survived by her nieces, Marie Nasekos of Clinton, MS and Millie Gillis of Tupelo, MS; and nephew, Richard Josey, Jr. of Meridian, MS.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at Adaton Baptist Church in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following. Rev. Hal Selby will conduct the service. Burial will be in Adaton Methodist Church Cemetery.
