Sue: My deepest condolences to you and the family. I have known Tommy for over 30 years and coauthored the book, "Only in Arkansas" with him years ago. It was Tommy who first introduced me to my all consuming passion, the biodiversity of Arkansas, through the writings of E. O. Wilson. I have long admired his love of insects, especially the beetles, and followed his career even after retirement. Tommy was a wonderful colleague, admired friend, and treasured systematic entomologist who made many contributions to science and was highly respected throughout the entomological world.
