Obituary for Thomas Junior Warren

Thomas J. Warren passed away at his home in Eupora, MS on February 23, 2017. Thomas was born on September 29, 1948 in Victoria, Arkansas to Grady and Aleene Ferguson Warren. He grew up in Arkansas and joined the Army to serve his country. While fighting in the Vietnam War, his bravery, earned him the Purple Heart and Bronze Medal. While fighting for our country he was severely wounded by enemy fire and exposed to Agent Orange which eventually led to the loss of his sight. Always optimistic and independent, he attended the Addie McBryde Rehabilitation Center for the Blind and the Southeastern Blind Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Warren is survived by his wife Eugenia (Jean) Warren of 43 years; sons, Kenneth Davis of Mathiston and Mark Warren of Biloxi; daughters, Brandy Kimbrough of Eupora and Jennifer McKee of Eupora; brothers, Sidney (Cathy) Warren of Greenville, MS and Victor (Dianne) Warren of Jonesboro, Arkansas; sisters, Mamie (Floyd) Fisk of Coffeville, MS and Verline (James) Atkinson of Danville, Alabama; Jean Acker of Danville, Alabama and Gwen(Ronald) Clowers of Mathiston, MS; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and extended family Kathy Brooks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Aleena Ferguson Warren; brothers, William Warren, Glenn Warren and Durrel Warren; granddaughter, Hayley Kimbrough.
