Oh Carolyn, how sad we are that you are gone... but I'm glad, darling, that you don't have to suffer any longer. And I'm so glad to know where you've gone... save me a place, sweetheart, because I hope to be good enough to join you one of these days. Oh my dear, dear friend... didn't we have some good times, the four of us !!! ... Camping on the Santa Rosa Island numerous times... camping in the Arkansas Mountains... going to Mardi Gras a number of times... lugging that big ol' ice chest all the way across Ship Island, going to the Grand Old Opry when it was still in the old Old Opera building and sitting there while a few drips came down from the balcony and hoping it was someone's spilled cold drink..... well, I could go on and on, but I need to talk with your family a little now... I just wanted to tell you, Ray, Glenda, Jeanette, Lee and the rest of Carolyn's family... I know you're going to miss that wonderful woman so very much. I wish I had the right words to comfort you.
