I was heartbroken to learn of the death of Dr. Thompson. I was his first secretary when he moved to Starkville and became the Director of the Forest Utilization Lab and always kidded him that I had seniority because I got to work before him the first day we both started. He was a wonderful boss and a man I truly respected. To his family I extend my deepest sympathy and prayers as you travel this tough road.
