One year Jimmy caled me and said lets go bank robbing!
I couldn't believe the request from staright laced Jiommy.
Turns out we did!
And my dear wife Carolyn drew up 'Posters' to put around calling for the arrest of two bank robbers.
What we actually did was go around to the little banks in Mississippi and buy sacks of half dollars and pull out the half silver ones of JFK. That was the year that the silver content was lowerd to nearly nothing.
Had a lot of fun from that.
Jimmy had a farm and a big tractor - "Big Green". It was a huge John Deere one lung flywheel engine tractor. I loved to hear it run.
I would go help Jimmy at the farm and one time to help net the catfish from his big pond. Of all of us I was the shortest by far. Of course Jimmy had me in the middle of the net line in the middle of the big Pond which was about six feet over my head.
Jimmy had a sense of humor different from many of us all. You had to think some, but he was funny!.
Jimmy and Sarah raised a wonderful family.
Jimmy found a kindred soul after Sarah had passed with a lady named Sylvia from his high school era.
Both ladies are most likely up there telling stories about Jimmy and huggin each other.
My Mom and Dad thought the world of Jimmy and I am confident they will met Jimmy up there.
'There' is what ever God has for us after we get THERE!
