Lee A.  Dugard
Lee A. Dugard, 83, of Madison, MS. passed away on July 1, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville Al of a long time heart related issue. “Al” Dugard retired as a Senior Consultant for the New Ventures Division of the Mississippi Department of Economic and Community Development in Jackson, MS.
Al graduated from Mississippi State University in 1954 with a B.S. in Accounting. He was a member of the Famous Maroon Band. After graduating, he went on to serve in the United States Air Force as a First Lieutenant
He was a member of First Baptist Church Madison after being a very active member of the Highland Colony Baptist Church in Ridgeland for many years. He was member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Lions Club, and the Mississippi State Bulldog Club.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, July 5 at 1:00 PM at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, Mississippi. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM.
Mr. Dugard is survived by his wife of fifty six years, Joanne Coker Dugard; one daughter, Karen Lawler and her husband, Al Lawler, of Huntsville, AL; one sister, Peggy Lackey and her husband Don Lackey, of Arab, AL.

In lieu of flower, the family asks that you consider donations to the following: Mississippi State University Famous Maroon Band c/o The MSU Foundation or The American Heart Association.
