Harold was a Dean's Dean. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a comforting smile and exhibited a sense of calm to all around him. Harold more than survived some difficult years as an administrator during the turbulent 60s, but he brought his University and its students through it better for the experience. He will be sorely missed.
