My daughter Levi Prisock was one of Harold's many private students, and I am so very glad we found him. I presented him with a simple notebook containing a story Levi wrote that was a culmination of the many lessons he taught her. The title was "Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release" for which she was awarded a gold medal. I also included the adjudication sheet from the competition where she performed the piece mentioned in the story. Debussy's Reverie. I hope the family finds the notebook and enjoys reading the story which describes her love and admiration for her teacher. Harold read it aloud to me at my request the day I presented it to him. Levi wanted to rework the story to achieve the perfection he always demanded of her but probably never received. She did not complete the rewrite before her death, still she did learn from her lessons with Harold that "passion is not exclusive to precision; that discipline feeds rather than stifles beauty; that repetition is not restraint, but release." Rest in peace, my friend.
