Charles (Chuck)  H. Davidson, Jr.
Charles H. Davidson, Jr. (Chuck), age 82, went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2022, at his home in Starkville, Mississippi.

Chuck was born in Phoenix Arizona and moved to Tucson Arizona as a young boy. He loved working on cars and started working and building cars until he enlisted in the Navy in 1956. He attained E-6 (1st class) in 4 years, 6 months. He was assigned as Fire Fighting and Damage Control Petty Officer on Submarines. He did numerous overseas tours and served in the Vietnam War. He ended his Navy Career in 1969. He then became a Police Officer with the San Diego Police Department until he medically retired in 1979. He changed careers and went to work for the AMFAC Corporation - Fred Harvey Company at Grand Canyon working as the Director of Fire and Safety at the Grand Canyon Airport and then transferred to become the Sales and Marketing Director of the Grand Canyon National Park Lodges. A move to Chandler Arizona led him to become the Tourism Sales Manager at the Mesa Convention and Visitors Bureau. In 1989 he began his career with Auto Zone and retired as the Regional Human Resource Manager. He worked briefly for Brinks Incorporated and then moved to Starkville, Mississippi where he was a contract employee for Homeland Security and subsequently retired permanently.
Chuck married Karen Sabina Elmer on January 13, 1979, in Flagstaff. Arizona She was the love of his life for 43 years

Chuck is preceded in death by son Steven Davidson and grandson David McBride.

He is survived by his wife Karen, daughters: Katrina Lawrence, Julie Parnell, Donna Lee DeVeau, and Leslie Davidson, and son Richard Davidson, grandchildren: Jeanette McBride Layne, Cynthia Ann McBride, Kaitlyn Davidson, Kyleigh Lawrence, Christopher Davidson, Jessica Bolanger, and many great grandchildren.

As requested by Chuck there will not be a formal memorial Service.
