Obituary for Deanise Elouise Stephens

Deanise Elouise Stephens, 57, passed away on December 30, 2021 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS. She was a paper carrier for Commercial Dispatch and member of Adaton Baptist Church in Starkville. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, doing work in her yard, helping the elderly get papers or any help they needed even deliveries with Meals on Wheels.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold D. Tallent; and brother, Harold Wayne Tallent.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Stephens, Sr.; daughter, Cindy Boudreaux (Gary); sons, Thomas Stephens, Jr. (Amanda) and Daniel H. Stephens; mother, Mary Louise Tallent; sisters, Dana Huffman, Jennifer Biggers, and Amanda Tallent; brothers, Harold D. Tallent, Jr., David Russell Tallent, and Kenny Tallent; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, January 3, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery in Starkville.
