The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dr. John Gassaway can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Jim, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I wished I would've had the opportunity to know your father. He sounds like he was an amazing Christian, husband, father, and physician. I was amazed to even read that he was a pretty good pianist. Now I know where you get your musical talents. I know he will forever be missed but you can take comfort in knowing he will be in your heart and thoughts forever. Take care. We are all praying for your comfort. ~Chris
