Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gerald Gammill can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Gerald Bayne Gammill

Gerald Bayne Gammill
Gerald Bayne Gammill of Starkville, died at home on December 20, 2018, at the age of 87. He taught in the Starkville School district for several years and was a retired United Methodist minister.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Johnnie F. Gammill; daughters, Pam (Joey) Gentry and Renee Gammill; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Myral Oswalt Gammill, his brother, Glenn Gammill, and his children, Donna Gammill, Beverly Hodges, and Denny Gammill.

Visitation will be held at Welch Funeral Home on Saturday, December 22, at 2:00 pm, with services in the funeral home chapel at 3:00. Bro. Danny Rowland will officiate.
