Obituary for Jimmy Carl (Bo) Bell

Jimmy Carl (Bo) Bell, 85, of Sturgis, MS, passed away on January 19, 2023 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS.

Mr. Bell was born on August 1, 1937 in Mathiston, MS to the late Meek Edgar Bell and Lillie Ada Reed Bell. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Choctaw County. He was a retired barber and a structural welder

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Peggie Oswalt Bell; sisters, Lorene Bell Seawright, Helen Louzell Bell Oswalt; brother, Clarence Lavell Bell; and niece, Dot Holland.

Jimmy was survived by his niece, Diane Boon; nephews, Doug Oswalt (Lesa), Larry Oswalt, Ralph Seawright, and Charles Seawright (Linda); brother-in-law, David Oswalt (Carolyn); and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Wake Forest Cemetery in Sturgis, MS. Rev. Moultrie Lacey will officiate.
