Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Jay Read can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: To Lisa and family,
I'm so sorry for this untimely loss. John was a kind and gentle man with a soft spoken manner that brought calm.
I remember little John Mitchell about 2years old. Just a toddler. He had never seen Papa John before,but when John sat down in the rocking chair, little John got up on his lap and cuddled like he had known him his whole little life.
May that calm and gentle spirit be with you always.
