Condolence From: SHS Class of 1966 - via Dr. Larry Anderson
Condolence: On behalf of the Starkville High School Class of 1966, we offer our most heartfelt condolences to the family and relatives of our classmate, Lawrence.
I remember him as a very friendly fella who was always a steadfast friend. He never tried to be the "big man on campus." Rather, he seemed satisfied with being a solid friend and one who would stand by you through thick or thin.
We shall certainly miss him. However, we remember the kind of impression he made upon us and maybe the best thing we can do to memorialize his life is to attempt to model and pass on to future generations those principles for which he stood.
