It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Leslie Finley announces his passing after suffering a cardiac episode on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the age of 59 years. Robert will be lovingly remembered by his father of 86 years, Robert Pearson Finley and his siblings, Cindy Rose, John, James, and Chris. Robert will also be fondly remembered by his five nieces and nephews, Jordan, Victoria, Lindsey Rose, Jamie, and Jacob. Robert was predeceased by his mother, Martha Rae Finley.
A Memorial Service in memory of Robert will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 6:00 p.m., at the Welch Funeral Home, 201 West Lampkin St., Starkville, MS.
Robert will be fondly remembered by his friends and family for his humorous personality as well as his kind soul and loving heart. Robert was a proud patriot and veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
