Obituary for Sherrell Gene Benton
Gene Benton, 65, passed away on July 3, 2021 in Starkville, MS. He was a carpenter with Heath Construction Company.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Benton of Starkville, MS; daughter, Courtney Headley (Jonathan) of Starkville, MS; brother, Donald Benton of Arizona; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the graveside following at 12:00 p.m. at South Union Cemetery in Ackerman, MS. Rev. Melvin Mordecai will conduct the service.
