Condolence From: Kelly Murphree
Condolence: Prentiss was one of the sweetest person I have ever known. He was one of a kind and will certainly be missed by so many. He always had the best attitude and was a wonderful role model to all. I will miss his sweet spirit. May God bless you all now and in the days ahead.

Condolence From: Karen Stevens Lasik
Condolence: I was so sad to hear about Reverend Gordon's passing. He was my pastor when I was growing up in Starkville and he performed my wedding ceremony. Even though I moved far away from Starkville (to Ellensburg, WA), I would still see Rev. Gordon quite often when I visited my parents, Katheryn and Jimmy Stevens. Rev. Gordon was so wonderful to visit my parents when they became ill.
Rev. Gordon is the perfect example of "a life well-lived." He will be missed by so many but there is no doubt that "heaven is a little sweeter" today. I will be praying for your wonderful family during this difficult time. God bless all of you!

Condolence: What a precious soul! Heaven just got a little sweeter. I had to pleasure of meeting this sweet man while working for Dr Eastman. Also when I was working at the bank. He always had a smile on his face and a huge heart for everyone. Praying for his family during this time. He and his family will always hold a special place in my heart. Sorry for your loss But we all know he is one happy man now.

Condolence: I, along with everyone who knew Brother Prentiss were sad at the news of his death.
I remember in 2009, when my mother died, Brother Prentiss and his wife came over to Maben for my mother's visitation
We will all miss him, and pray Prentiss Jr will stay in good health and carry on the Gordon legacy.
We will keep all family in prayer
