Obituary for Thomas "Tommy" Lee Palmertree

Thomas “Tommy” Lee Palmertree passed away at the age of 61 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN on February 7, 2021 following a liver transplant. Tommy was born on May 19, 1959 in Starkville, MS.

Tommy graduated from Starkville High School and was an avid Mississippi State University fan. He was the Warehouse Manager with United Produce in Starkville. He enjoyed fishing and motorcycle riding.

He is survived by his daughter, Meagen Palmertree; sons, Bobby, Matt, and Justin Palmertree; several grandchildren; his sisters; Donna Hester, Carrie White, and Lorie Palmertree; and brother, Jimmy Palmertree.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Jean Mitchell (Palmertree) and James Denton Palmertree; wife, Robin Palmertree; grandmother, Maebell Palmertree and grandfather, J.D. Palmertree; sister, Sandy Fason; and brother, Mike Palmertree.

There will be a graveside service held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Garden Park Cemetery in Starkville. Rev. Bobby Palmertree will conduct the service.

If you would like to send flowers, please have them delivered to Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.
