Sweet Angel

What a gift of a life well lived. We had the privilege of watching Wanda maneuver the halls of Ocean Springs High School and in the process win the hearts of students and teachers alike. The smile, the rasping little voice, and the infectious laugh warmed hearts daily. The never give up attitude was one we all admired. Upon retirement we moved to Starkville and once again we were blessed to cross paths with this angel. Jimmy was delivering meals on wheels at Boardtown and heard a sweet little hoarse voice call out, "Coach, is that you? Come here." What a gift from God, what a true picture of how to live life everyday. All we can do is thank God for allowing us to have had the opportunity to call her friend, it made my day when I could run into her at Wal-Mart!! I pray we all learn from what she had to teach, life is precious, live it!!
