Dad. Thank you for your love, patience, humor, quirks, lessons, mistakes, and all that you have shared with me. Advice you gave me that I ignored because I knew better than you. You were a forgiving and understanding father.

My fondest memory was a recent one. The day in January 2011 I called you at work to ask you to be my best man at my wedding. You were so choked up over the phone and it meant so much to me that it meant so much to you.
