Best Memory of Danny

I was deeply sadden to hear about the passing of Danny also was even more painful being in California for work and not able to be home to be with his friends and family. As I was praying for everyone and thinking back on Danny I remembered the story that Danny always told about us.

Danny struck a friendship with me and discovered that I was a avid hunter as we was. He offered to take me hunting on some land past the Oktibbeha County Lake so I was happy to attend. It was a cold Winter afternoon and I rode the 4-wheeler with Danny to the woods. The first time we went hunting we walked and he said that wouldnt happen again. We both got into our stands without much of any luck with the deer. On the way out we were passing through the woods and I was on the back of the 4-wheeler and Danny was driving. He had been running over numerous different trees and bushes then all of a sudden we hit one that was stronger than the rest. Before we realized it the 4-wheeler had ran up the tree and was facing straight up with me on the ground and Danny resting on top of me. He was laughing so hard he couldnt ask if I was ok, which I was, but he was just laughing that I broke his fall. We flipped the 4-wheeler and went back to his house for dinner.

Every time he thought of that story he always mentioned or wanted me telling people how we go hunting and that you need to keep me on the back of the ride to break any falls.

We are going to miss Dan terribly and I am praying for Mrs. Sheila and the family each and everyday.
