Wes was my boss for several years, a friend forever! He was a no-frills kind of guy. We could always count on Wes to speak the truth and he did so kindly. A very humble guy, he equipped his employees and students with encouragement and the "correct" information--so vital in such a busy department. His shoes will be very hard to fill!
