Condolence From: Kevin Pridmore
Condolence: As a Columbus Caldwell Bobcat, I competed against Coach and his terrific teams 1982 - 1986. I was also
fortunate to work with him for a few years as a MS High School umpire. Over the years I would bump into Coach and he was always great to reminisce with and genuinely ask about my life. No doubt he would show the same interest in many of the other young people that he coached/taught throughout his career. Thank you Coach for being a great competitor, a leader, an example, a teacher, and just a good guy. Thank you for the memories.

Condolence: Coach was always was a guy that cared for his players. To him wins and losses were important but it was more about the young men he developed. I met Danny when i was about 10 and he managed i believe the major league field for youth baseball. He had a very small motorcycle that he use to take us riding around the field. From that point thru high school, college, and after we stayed friends.
Coach you will be missed

Condolence: So sad to hear the passing of a man who had such an influence on my life. Grew up in a time where our coaches were like a 2nd father. Coach taught me that hard work and character meant more than talent. When my mom died he showed up at our house after the funeral in his uniform (after an out of town game where I’m sure he drove the bus home). We laughed and talked late into the night. Just meant a lot to me and my dad. Will never forget you Coach.
