Bill was one of 18 cousins and on one of his family's visits from Wilmington, Delaware to Chicago, Illinois, he was amazed that the top soil of the Chicago area was quite black while the top soil in Delaware was quite red. He probably was thinking even then, as a four year old, that there must be a chemical equation to solve this problem. This, I believe, was the start of his career! Bill was a gentle soul and I am sorry for your loss, Jackie, Eileen, Tom and families. Sincerely, Maryann and Tom Anglim
