Louise Elizabeth Rhodes Patterson, 89, passed away on December 29, 2013 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS. She was born in High Point, MS to Homer and Elva Horton Rhodes. She was a homemaker and life time member of Longview Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Patterson; and daughter, Ann Patterson.

She is survived by daughters, Linda Makamson of Sturgis, MS, Debbie Johnson (George) of Brandon, MS, Nancy Edwards of Byram, MS, and Mary Stroud of Sturgis, MS; sons, Wayne Patterson (Pat) of Weir, MS, Buddy Patterson of Louisville, MS, and Ricky Patterson of Byram, MS; sister, Hazel Smith of Sturgis, MS; brothers, Hubert Rhodes of Sturgis, MS, and Jimmy Rhodes of Germantown, TN; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Patterson is scheduled for Tuesday, December 31, 2013 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Welch Funeral Home. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery in Ackerman, MS.
