Condolence: I will be ever grateful to Monroe for allowing me to expand my theatrical talents by serving as his Assistant Director in the SCT production of "Lost in Yonkers" . He has always been a supportive, generous person.

Condolence: I have many fond memories of Monroe at SCT. He taught me everything I needed to know to act on stage. But mostly, I remember how witty, friendly, warm and affectionate he was. Always quick with a laugh, and a sweet smile. He was one of a kind for sure! I send my love to all the Dewberry family. I was so sad to hear of his passing.

Condolence: Monroe was so special! He was the Methodist Youth Fellowship leader when I was a teenager. I have such fond memories of him during that time. He was a lifelong friend. I admired his talent, his wit and his integrity and of course I always enjoyed a big hug every time I saw him around town. He was certainly one of a kind. Heaven just got sweeter!

Condolence: Dewberry Family, Our paths crossed many times during our days in Starkville; first due to mutual friend Gwendolyn Smith and when your mother was in the hospital before her death, school events and community events. And we were almost neighbors when he lived on Montgomery St. Lots of memories. Blessings as you grieve your loss, but celebrate a life well loved and appreciated. The Zitta Family
