I've known William, I guess, all of my life. We are the same age and attended Starkville schools from the first grade to graduation. I was proud to know him and have him as a friend.When you are close to someone that long, it is like family. I remember our last reunion of the class of 1950 when he was there. Next year will be our 65th reunion and even though he will not be with us, he will join us in our hearts and memories. William, rest in peace, ole friend.
